Learning Outcomes:
Over 70% of the population experience a feeling of fraudulence, worrying that they will be ‘found out’ at some point in their lives, discovered not to be as good as others think or a sense that they don’t deserve the position they have attained. This is commonly referred to as 'Imposter Syndrome'. During the day we will explore what the Imposter Syndrome is, why it is really a phenomenon, how it develops and, importantly, how to deal with your own imposter chatter and mitigate against the effects.
- By the end of the workshop participants will be able to-
- Identify limiting beliefs and options to change them
- Listen to their self-talk and know how that affects their confidence
- Identify their imposter chatter and where it might come from Begin to rewrite their own story
- List a minimum of five strategies for improving confidence and overcoming the imposter phenomenon
