Target Audience: ARCP panel chairs and aspiring panel chairs
This course covers the principles behind the specialty training ARCP process and is aimed at specialty training ARCP panel chairs.
The aim of this workshop is to develop better understanding of the principles of ARCP; the role of the ARCP panel and how the Revalidation process fits within ARCP.
Learning Outcomes:
- To equip new ARCP panel chairs with the theory and principles of ARCP panel process and procedure.
- To develop skills in the chairing of panels and in making ARCP outcome decisions based purely on the evidence contained within the training portfolio.
- To explain how trainee revalidation fits with the ARCP process.
