The globally recruited healthcare workforce has diverse cultural preferences in learning, communication, and teamwork. This workshop will discuss the key aspects of intersectionality in a multicultural team and provide the necessary knowledge and skills to supervise, train and support the multicultural workforce from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Outcomes:
- Understand how intersectionality like nationality, race, gender, ethnicity, religion, age, sexual orientation, and neurodiversity impacts effective learning, training, teamwork and leadership.
- Recognize personal cultural biases that affect educational & leadership style, feedback processes, and communication.
- Developing the skills for compassionate and Inclusive leadership and creating psychologically safe spaces for culturally competent multiprofessional teams
