The globally recruited healthcare workforce has diverse cultural preferences in learning, communication, and teamwork. This workshop will discuss the key aspects of intersectionality in a multicultural team and provide the necessary knowledge and skills to supervise, train and support the multicultural workforce from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Outcomes:

1. Understand how intersectionality like nationality, race, gender, ethnicity, religion, age, sexual orientation, and neurodiversity impacts effective learning, training, teamwork and leadership.
2. Recognize personal cultural biases that affect educational & leadership style, feedback processes, and communication.
3. Developing the skills for compassionate and Inclusive leadership and creating psychologically safe spaces for culturally competent multiprofessional teams

This session will take place at Stella House, Newburn Riverside, NE15 8NY.
