Training Day for New Training Programme Directors

• To support the delegates in delivering the TPD role by helping them better understand HEE-NE and LET structure and functions
• To enable delegates to better understand and plan for the challenges and pressures of being a TPD by clarifying areas of core business
• To develop their knowledge of policy and practice across the educational process
• To ensure that they are better prepared when facing training or trainee issues and dilemmas, ensuring that they are able to either resolve these issues themselves or seek the appropriate support and guidance in order to do so
• To increase awareness of faculty development initiatives in order to improve and develop their cohort of trainers
